all about me tree

Art has been in my heart my whole life because of an architect father and mother who sewed, knitted and crafted. Childhood memories of pencils, pens, drawings, architecture mini models, designer furniture, patterns, hand sewn clothes and craft items influenced my wish to someday become an artist.

After my first career in healthcare and raising three children, I went back to school and became an artist followed by a once in a lifetime opportunity to work for a large entertainment company for many years.

This “All About Me Tree” shares a little more info about who I am.
• Panda bears are my favorite animal and three sitting in the tree represent my children.
• Katsu is my rescued Shiba dog and also my shadow.
• I finally learned to play the ukulele and enjoy making music.
• I enjoy folding origami and learning how to make all kinds of animals.
• The sound of wind chimes is relaxing and calming (this one hangs outside of my kitchen window)
• The cuckoo clock reminds me to keep moving forward just like time and live in each moment.

Art is in every culture and it’s powerful. It stirs emotions without a single word spoken. It can make you smile, laugh, cry and above all, bring you joy!
